  • We were just down there hiking a few weeks ago and there are some really cool trails.

Garden is a scenic view but basically you park and walk up the hill. It was insanely crowded when we were there as well. Garden of the Gods was neat to see but our favorite trail for hiking was little grand canyon. Climbing up and down falls was a blast.

  • It is gorgeous! While we don’t have a ton of land that isn’t being farmed, the ravines, rocks, and rivers make what we do have really special.

  • Great place. I watched the solar eclipse from there in 2017. The Garden of the Gods was full of people but there is a lot of back country to the park that is good for backpacking trips.

  • Did you happen to hike the whiskey cave trail? We’re trying to backpack in October in Shawnee. Whiskey cave is on All Trails, but not the actual map of Shawnee.

  • Is there any dispersed camping there? I would love to check the place out of they allowed that.
